Located in Gibraltar, E1 Spa is a commercial project centred around bespoke lighting design and installation, created to enhance the atmosphere of a refined wellness environment.

For the lighting concept, we took inspiration from mandala references to follow the spa’s visual language and create a sense of rhythm, balance and calm. This approach helped shape a lighting scheme that feels decorative yet subtle, adding identity to the space while supporting the relaxing atmosphere expected in a spa environment.

The lighting was carefully designed to bring warmth, depth and visual comfort to each area, using soft indirect light, illuminated details, feature lighting and discreet LED elements. Every lighting element was planned to complement the material palette, highlighting textures, mirrors and key architectural features without overpowering the space.

The ambient lighting integrated within the spa became the final touch needed to transform this area into a truly relaxing and atmospheric setting. It adds a soft, immersive glow that enhances the sense of comfort, privacy and understated luxury throughout the space.
